Kathy I. Jackson, 62, of Kingston, died Saturday, December 12, 2015 in Covenant Medical Center Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born August 3, 1953 in Highland Park to Fred T. and Pearl Etta (Cook) Keller. She married Richard Monroe Jackson March 29, 1972 in Madison Heights. He died March 16, 2013.
Kathy loved animals. She was a 4H leader for the Silver Arrow club group. She trained and broke horses. Kathy owned a pony ring and petting zoo. She raised goats and pot belly pigs. Kathy and Richard built a boat using a motor that had been with Kathy since she was 17. Kathy raised and showed Polish rabbits. She loved reptiles since she was a young girl. Kathy also enjoyed sewing and riding motorcycles with family members.
Kathy is survived by her children: Timothy (Brandy) Jackson of Kingston, Richard Jackson of Warren, Angela (John) Jarrard of Caro; grandchildren: Dakota, Kaylei, Christian, Anthony, Hayley, Cade, Deʹannber, Levy, Gage, Klarrissa; sister, Katie Lee of Punta Gorda, FL. She is preceded in death by her grandson, Thomas Jackson and all her other siblings.
Funeral service held 4:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2015 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston with Rev. Carol J. Abbot of Kingston United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
