Jack Leroy Edwards III

JACK LEROY EDWARDS III  

Jack L. Edwards, III, 32, of Deford died unexpectedly, Saturday, September 30, 2023 in his home.  He was born November 26, 1990 in Bay City to Jack Ewards, Jr. and Gaydon (Laws) Edwards.    

Jack attended elementary school in Deford and continued his education in Cass City.  As a child, he enjoyed racing his dirt bike and winning various awards.  He worked as a roofer and for a road construction company.  Jack was a loving son and a great father; his children were his world.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Jack loved fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, and spending time with his Pitbull, Casper. 

Jack is survived by his children:  Raelynn Edwards, Colton Edwards; mother, Gaydon Edwards; father, Jack (Belinda) Edwards Jr.; sister, Jamie Lucas; aunts and uncles:  Gloria, Val, Iva and Tony, Bobbie Joe and Raymond, Terri and Chris, Wayne and Paula; his canine companion, Casper.  He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Uncle Matt; Aunt Sam; Uncle Donald.    

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Garth Hazzard of Potter’s House Christian Fellowship officiating.  Memorials may be made to Gaydon Edwards for Reaylynn and Colton Edwards future education fund.   Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. 

     Visitation:  3 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City
