BETTY JANE HUNTER
Jane Hunter, 82 of Kingston, died Sunday, September 3, 2006 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. She was born July 28, 1924, in Saginaw to Arthur and Ruth (Gohs) Kelley. She married Douglas Hunter January 5, 1942 in Mayville. He died March 21, 2003.
Jane was a founding member of Mayville Eagles. She was an excellent cook. Jane enjoyed gardening, knitting, and being around people.
Jane is survived by her children: Ruth A. (William) Ruff of Bay City, Robert (LuAnn) Hunter of Kingston; daughter-in-law, Paula Hunter Haddix of Denton, TX; grandchildren: Dylan Hunter, Laurie (Keith) Roggenbuck, Todd (Kerstin) Hunter, Kirk (Sherry) Hunter; great grandchildren: Seth and Evan Roggenbuck, Kirk Hunter, Jr, Amanda Hunter; great great grandson, Austin Douglas Hunter; brother, Bob (Betty) Kelley of Kingston; sister, Joan �"Polly” (Frank) Harbec of Cass City, step-sister, Irene King of Troy, step-brother, Bob Morrison of Arizona, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her son, Morley Hunter; step-brothers; Dean and Larry Morrison.
Funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 6, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Kingston with Rev. Elroy Gilmore, Jr. Officiating. Interment is in Fremont Cemetery, Mayville. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
Visitation: 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2006
