Romel S. Hughes, 9, of Cass City, died Saturday, March 19, 2005 in Covenant Medical Center, Harrison in Saginaw. He was born December 8, 1995 in Detroit.
Romel attended Highland Pines School in Caro.
Romel is survived by his parents: Christine Hughes of Cass City and Jeffrey L. Spencer of Cass City; sisters and brothers: Elizabeth Hughes, Allen Hughes, Charles Hughes, Amber Hughes, Rebecca Hughes and Dillon Hughes.
Memorial service held 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2005 at Cass City VFW Hall Post #3644. Romel is to be buried in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund and may be mailed to or dropped off at Kranz Funeral Home, 6850 Main St., Cass City.
