Frank P. Hranec, 83, of Kingston, died Friday, December 11, 2009 in Brian’s House, Davison Michigan following a short illness. He was born April 3, 1926 in Edenborn, PA to Joseph and Ann (Yabic) Hranec. He married Ellen Stuck. She died January 16, 1981. He later married Judy Lockhart. She died December 18, 1996.
Frank retired from Chrysler after 26 years as a mechanic. He served in Europe in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1946. Frank was also a member of the Eagles and Moose Lodge of Caro and the Kingston VFW.
Frank is survived by his children: Frank (Nita) Hranec of Warren, Dave (Hope) Hranec of Ortonville, Patricia (Ralph) Armstrong of Warren, Cathy (Mirko) Dimovski of Macomb; grandchildren: Amy, Jeff, Kristy, Kenneth, Anton, Mike, Jack and Joseph; 5 great grandchildren; sisters: Dolly, Joanne, Marge, Catherine; brothers: John, Joe. He was preceded in death by his sisters: Anne, Rose and Mary.
A Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Margaret's Catholic Church, St. Clair Shores. Memorials may be made to Brian's House, Davison. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
