STANLEY WALTER HOTT
73, of Venice, FL, died Thursday, December 9, 2021 in Windsor of Venice Senior Living, Florida. He was born May 24, 1948 in St. Johns to Elwood and Florence (Chafee) Hott. He married Patricia Marie Hoadley on November 8, 1974 in East Lansing. She died July 6, 2018.
Stanley graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School with the class of 1968. He grew up on a dairy farm and was a member of the Future Farmers of America during High School. Stanley worked for Portec Manufacturing in Ashley and later worked for Peckham in Lansing. Stan and Pat enjoyed traveling and did so extensively through the United States and Canada. They also enjoyed ocean cruises in the Caribbean. They were members of the 300 Blind Bowling League in Lansing. Stan and Pat moved from Lansing to Haines City, FL in 2011 and Stan moved to Venice, FL in 2020.
Stan and Pat did not have any children. Close friends include: Glen Schultz of MI; John (Bonnie) Coleman of MI; Andrew (Melissa) Leisenring of FL; Robert (Kim) Leisenring of MI; Ray (Madaline) Kircher of FL; Linda Hannum of OH; Dan Protrouski of OH; the Castner and Moore families of MI.
Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
