Edward Hopper

Edward B. Hopper, 77, of Gagetown, died Tuesday, April 22, 2003 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. He was born November 13, 1925 in Franklin Lakes, NY, to Mr. and Mrs. Abram Hopper. He married Nellie M. Coyle March 30, 1965 in Detroit.

Edward worked at the Great Lakes Sugar Warehouse as a truck driver and warehouseman for 14 years. He was a member of the Teamster Union #337. He loved dogs.

Edward is survived by his wife, Nellie; children: Margaret (Donald) Golden of Albion, IN, Jason Morgan of Saginaw; 5 step children; grandchildren, Micheala, Tessa and Alan Golden, Tiffany Morgan; 14 step grandchildren; 26 step great grandchildren; siblings: Lydie Winters of Midland Park, NJ, George Hopper of Saddle Brook, NJ; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ralph and Lester Hopper and Bessie Bradford.

Memorial services held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2003 at Novesta Church of Christ, Cass City with Chuck Emmert officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Mr. Hopper’s cremated remains will be buried at home in New York, near his parents.
