CHARLES RAY HOLTZCLAW
Charles Ray Holtzclaw, 62, of Cass City died following a long illness in his home September 21, 2016. He was born December 23, 1953 in Miami, FL to Earnest and Evelyn (Kinney) Holtzclaw. Ray was married to Linda Louise Maxwell December 5, 1977 in Donaldsville, FL.
An avid outdoorsman Ray loved hunting pheasant, bear, elk and deer. He enjoyed time spent bass fishing with Linda. Ray worked as a pan operator and specialized in small engine mechanics and repair. He was proud to be an Amish taxi driver for many area families.
Ray is survived by his wife, Linda ; daughter, Irene (Max) Morrish of Cass City; son, George (Kristie) Hosner of Pasco, FL; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Holtzclaw of KY; sister, Tiffany Burress of KY; brother in law, Michael (Joann) Maxwell of Lake Bay, WA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Holtzclaw of KY and sister, Livie Burke of FL.
Memorial service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Elder Karen Bouverette officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
