David B. Holik, 59, of Cass City, died October 31, 2008, in his home. He was born January 19, 1949 in Cass City to Mitchell and Muriel E. (Hill) Holik. David never married.
David served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He attended Mizpah Missionary Church.
David is survived by his brothers: Lawrence Holik of Cass City, Leon (Virginia) Holik of Niles, Lyle (Elizabeth) Holik of Caro, Michael (Jan) Holik of Caro; sisters: Olga (Russell) Schneeberger of Cass City, Opal (Clarence) Schneeberger of Cass City, Oma (Robert) Bond of Williamston; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister-in-law, Dorothy Holik.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his graveside in Elkland Township Cemetery with Pastor JT Mabe of Mizpah Missionary Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Military honors under the direction of Cass City VFW Post #3644.
