WILLIAM DARRIN HOLDBURG,
53, of Cass City died unexpectedly Friday, November 9, 2018 in his daughter’s home in Sterling Heights. He was born March 4, 1965 in Cass City to Norris Lee and Shirleen Marie (Warford) Holdburg.
Will graduated from Cass City High School with the class of 1984. He was a journeyman electrician for IBEW Local 58. Will was an industrial electrician in Michigan and traveled to other states when there was a need.
He enjoyed deer hunting, playing cards, four wheeling and snowmobiling. Winter was his favorite time of year. Will liked gardening and making the house look nice with plants. He was an awesome cook and was the keeper of the family recipes. Will enjoyed watching sports on television, especially NASCAR and MASH. He loved Tim Allen and always tried to duplicate his laugh. What brought Will the most peace and joy to his life were his children and granddaughter, Crystal.
Will is survived by his children: Nicole Valiquette of Sterling Heights, Michael (Leslie) Valiquette of Rock Falls, IL; granddaughter, Crystal; siblings: Linda (Mike) Herner of Saginaw, Brenda (Robert) Cook of Saginaw, Norris (Christine) Holdburg of Cass City, Pete (Kathy) Gamet of Deford, Jade Galinski of Gagetown; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor David Cooper of Deford Community Church officiating. Pallbearers for Mr. Holdburg will be: Mike Herner, Mack Gray, Dave Gray, Greg Taggett and Josh Gamet. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
