Anna M. Hofmann, 82, of Deford, died Sunday, May 23, 2004 in her home. She was born July 28, 1921, in Detroit to Joseph and Anna (Brenda) Steinhauer. She married Walter Edward Hofmann March16, 1936 in Detroit. He died February 29, 1996.
Anna went to be with her Lord, Jesus. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
Anna is survived by her children: Walter D. Hofmann of Deford, Joyce (Roger) Kennedy of New Haven, Cary (Sandra) Hofmann of Dryden, Evelyn Recore of Decker, Cheryl (David) Gertcher of Imlay City, Mark (Joanne) Hofmann of North Branch, Corinne (Mark) Oswald of Oxford; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Eleanor Buege, Joseph Steinhauer, and Genevieve Suikkanen.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date in Moshier Cemetery, Hemans. Memorials may be made to the United Hospice of Marlette or American Heart Association.
