HOWARD A. HILL,
80, of Cass City died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 in Courtney Manor, Bad Axe following a short illness. He was born November 9, 1930 in Huron County to Howard and Lois (Moss) Hill. He married Bonnie Kritzman October 11, 1952 in Shabbona.
Howard attended Stone School. His life work was his dairy and crop farm. After his retirement he and Bonnie enjoyed a trip to Alaska and enjoyed wintering in Florida. Howard enjoyed hunting (especially bear, fox and coyote), helping to build his cabin, playing euchre, gardening, being outdoors, roller skating, and driving around the mile to check his crops. Howard's greatest love was his family and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Howard survived by his wife, Bonnie, children: Kim (Dorothy) Hill of Snover, Bunny Hill of Shelby Township, Kris (Dave) Deering of Deford, Tim (Elsie) Hill of England; grandchildren: Derek Hill of Grand Rapids, Jennifer (Kevin) Czekai of Florida, Sophie Hill of England, Kati Hill of Cass City, Daniel Deering of Deford, Brad (Mandy) Deering of Cass City; great grandchildren: Cameron Czekai, Addison Frederick, Brennan Deering; sister, Veras Cipparone of Fenton; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by: twin sons; brother, Eldon; sisters: Marie Clara, Edna Mae Mitchell, Ella Jean Ware.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs, Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Hill will be: Kim Hill, Derek Hill, Daniel Deering, Robert "Buck" Behr, Ivan Stine, Greg Ware, Larry Moss.
