EDWARD THOMAS HILL, SR.,
68, of Cass City, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Covenant Health Care System, Cooper Campus, Saginaw following a short illness. He was born January 2, 1946 in Harbor Beach to Orville and Dorothy (Ventline) Hill. He married Martha Tillie Klebba June 12, 1970 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church, Cass City.
Ed worked for Hamill Manufacturing in Ubly, Tower Industries in Sebewaing and retired from Gemini Plastics in Ubly. Ed enjoyed being outside and cutting wood. He also enjoyed driving his International tractor.
Ed is survived by his wife, Martha; children: Edward Hill, Jr. of St. Clair, Angela (Jamie) Kreger of Snover, Steven Hill of St. Clair; granddaughter, Isabella J. Hill; brother, Dennis (Linda) Hill of Harbor Beach; sisters: Theresa (Sylvester) Smeader of North Branch, Loraine Hartsell of Bad Axe; half-brother, Jim Kirsch of Bad Axe; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Hill and daughter-in-law, Christy Hill.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Pancratius Catholic Church with Rev. Christian Tabares officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
