BONNIE LOU HILL
86, of Snover died peacefully in her sleep, Monday, August 30, 2021 in Courtney Manor, Bad Axe. She was born October 26, 1934 in Cass City to Norman and Zelda (Travis) Kritzman. She married Howard Hill October 11, 1952 in Shabbona. He died June 8, 2011.
Bonnie graduated from Cass City High School in 1952. She worked as a housewife and helped Howard with the never-ending chores of their dairy and crop farm. Being the taxi driver for her children also kept her busy. Bonnie looked forward to trips up north to the cabin and spending the winter months in Florida. Her hobbies included playing euchre, dominos, cheering on the Detroit Tigers, and playing the Mahjong tile game on her iPad. She always enjoyed the yearly Nichols’ Christmas light show display which she viewed from the comfort of her home. Bonnie loved her friends, neighbors, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Bonnie is survived by her children: Kim (Dorothy) Hill of Snover, Bunny Hill (special friend, Al Smullen) of Shelby Township, Kris (Dave) Deering of Deford, Tim (Elsie) Hill of England; grandchildren: Derek, Jennifer (Derek), Sophie, Brad (Mandy), Kati (Keith), Daniel; great grandchildren: Cameron, Addison, Paislee, Blair, Brennan, Blake, Faith; sisters: Marion (Rich) Grachus of AZ, Karen (Robert) Behr of Caro. She is preceded in death by her husband; twin sons; brother, Jim Kritzman.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mrs. Hill will be: Derek Hill, Kim Hill, Gordie Wills, Daniel Deering, Ivan Stine, John Kritzman. Memorials may be made to Novesta Church of Christ, Rawson Memorial Library, or Shabbona Riverside Church.
