ONNALEE RUTH HELTSLEY Onnalee R. Heltsley, 87, of Deford, died Tuesday, April 19, 2005 in Rendon’s Young at Heart Adult Foster Care Home, Caro. She was born October 21, 1917 in Harrison to James and Virginia (Crothers) Gordon. Onnalee worked in accounting at Pontiac Schools for 31 years. She was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church and former member of Pontiac United Methodist Church. Onnalee was a former member of Business and Professional Women in Pontiac and Cass City. She enjoyed working on her flower gardens and taking walks outside. Onnalee is survived by her children: Jim (Carol) Richardson of Grand Blanc, Colleen (James) Kitchen of Deford; grandchildren: Lori (Randall) Hehn, Jeff (Melissa) Richardson, Gail (Ray) Evans; great grandchildren: James Corbin, Justin, Kyle and Emily Evans, Kate and Anna Richardson; brothers: James (Jeanette) Gordon, Byron Gordon; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Harold Richardson; grandson, Brian Edward Kitchen; brothers: Marshall, Melvin, Ace, Edward, Royal, and Robert Gordon; sisters: Mildred Herr and Lucille Root. Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. George Ward of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery, Kingston. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church of United Hospice of Marlette.
