ROSALIE M. HEALY,
86, of Fenton, died Tuesday, August 10, 2010 in Fenton Health Care Nursing Home, Fenton. She was born April 15, 1924 in New Lisbon, WI to Arnold and Laura (Elmer) Fobes. She married Donald Healy April 20, 1941 in Wisconsin. He died June 30, 1994.
Rosalie was a member of and attended many Free Methodist Churches over the years that her husband Don served as pastor. Those churches included ones in Grayling, Roscommon, Hillman, Linwood, Porter, Turner, Linden, Racy and Caro where Don spent his final ten years as a pastor. Rosalie enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She enjoyed canning, loved going to garage sales and loved canaries and dogs. Rosalie always had a pet.
Rosalie is survived by her children: Richard (Karen) Healy of Grand Blanc, Ronald (Heather) Healy of Empire, Donna (Thomas) Sherman of Alger, Patricia (Oral) Carper of Grawn;; grandchildren: Richard, Laura (Cliff) Cottrell, Matthew, Brent (Tracy) Sherman, Katelynn, Nicholas (Rachel) Carper, Amy (Emilio) Mena; great grandchildren: Auston, Dallas, Sidney, Elizabeth, Elijah, Ezekial, Adriannah, Isabel, Javier; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Michelle Healy; brothers: Arnold Fobes and Charles Fobes.
Funeral service held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 14, 2010 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. Burton Kincaid, a retired Free Methodist Church minister, officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
