Delbert C. Healy, 85, of Cass City, died Saturday, June 5, 2010 in his home with family by his side. He was born November 22, 1924 at home near Colwood to Clarence Franklin and Freida Belle (Thane) Healy. He married Dorothy Louise Burke January 14, 1950 in Cass City First Presbyterian Church.
Delbert was a dairy farmer for many years. He also worked as a Cable Operator for General Cable. Delbert enjoyed deer hunting, showing dairy cattle at area fairs and spending time with his family.
Delbert is survived by his wife, of over 60 years, Dorothy; children: Michael (Suzi) Healy of Ubly, Russell (Sue) Healy of Cass City, Louise (Alan) McClorey of Cass City, Jeffrey (Cathy) Healy of Cass City; grandchildren: Scott (Jennifer) Healy, Serena Healy, Tara (Mike Gwisdalla) Wright, Cyrus Healy, Elias (Sara) Healy, Steven Walther, Lauren Walther, Caitlyn Healy, Ethan Healy; great grandchildren, MacKenzie Healy, Tyler Healy; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brother, Orville Healy.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Brad Gniewek of Novesta Church of Christ officiating.
