SYLVIA DIANE HATMAKER,
72, of Cass City, formerly of Roseville, died following a long illness Friday, March 13, 2015 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born June 3, 1942 in Centerline to Bernard and Regina Pilarski.
Sylvia worked as a nurses aid in various nursing homes in East Pointe. She enjoyed stopping at garage sales to look for bargains. Most important to Sylvia was spending time with her grandchildren.
Sylvia is survived by her son, Jeffrey (Priscilla) Hatmaker of Deford; grandchildren: Daniel (Virginia) Shafer, Nicole (Darrel) Laughlin, Jessica (Russell) Kunna, Stephanie Hatmaker, Austin Hatmaker, Hunter Hatmaker, Blaine Hatmaker; great grandchildren: Nathan, Carly, Emily and Eli; son-in-law, Daniel Shafer of Roseville; brother, Norman Pilarski of Brown City. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Jeannie Shafer; brothers: Jerome Pilarski and James Pilarski; great grandson, Daniel.
