PATTY GERALDINE HATFIELD
Patty G. Hatfield, 42, of Flint, formerly of Corbin, KY, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 in McLaren Regional Medical Center, Flint after a short illness. She was born September 4, 1962 in Flint to Frank and Lila (Wilton) Mitchell.
Patty enjoyed making many different craft projects including crocheting. She enjoyed fishing and loved to cook. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Patty was a barefoot girl, and truly didn’t like to have her shoes on.
Patty is survived by her daughters: Alma (Stanley) Barton of Corbin, KY, Sarah Petrey of Somerset, KY, Tammy (Travis Wilson) Mitchell of Williamsburg, KY; grandchildren: Christopher, William, and Tammy Barton, Austin and Patty Wilson; brothers: Frank (Dosha) Mitchell of Flint, Lila Woodley of Flint, Douglas Mitchell of Williamsburg, KY, Linda Cain of Flint, Robert (Stormy) Spencer of Flint, Gary (Carol) Mitchell of Caro, Patricia Feldhouse of Flint, David Spencer of Flint, Sally Bearinger of Pennsylvania; mother, Lila Petrey of Flint; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Mitchell; grandparents: Gertrude and Gordon Wilton, Frank Mitchell and Lillian Spencer; aunts: Kate Labean, Luella Summerfield, Liz Fuller, Leona Rice, Cindy Elsworth; uncles: George Wilton, Don Wilton, Robert Wilton and others.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 19, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Chaplain Bob Bader officiating. Interment will be in Indianfields Township Cemetery, Caro. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund. Pallbearers for Ms. Hatfield: Frank Mitchell, Doug Mitchell, Bob Spencer, Gary Spencer, Gary Spencer, and Junior Spencer.
Visitation: 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, September 18, 2004 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday, September 19, before funeral service
