JAMES DALE HAMILTON,
85, of Cass City died following a long illness Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. He was born May 26, 1930 in Peck to Abel Clair and Vera Evelyn (Liebler) Hamilton. He married Joyce Ann Betka August 19, 1961 in Garden City.

Jim served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, serving in Korea from 1951 to 1953. He worked for Ford Motor Company at the Sterling Plant in Sterling Heights as an Accountant retiring in 1987 after 38 years of service. Jim was a former member of the American Legion Post in St. Clair Shores. He loved to golf, work in his garden and do yard work. Jim truly enjoyed his 28 year retirement. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Jim is survived by his wife, Joyce; son, Robert (Shelly) Hamilton of Cass City; grandchildren: Brendan and Brittany; sister, Beverly Arrowood of Hazel Park; sister-in-law, Edith Hamilton of New Port Richie. He is preceded in death by his sister, Helen Haynes; brothers: Howard Hamilton, Clair "Sonny" Hamilton, Robert Hamilton.
