Glenn Groth

Glenn E. Groth, 92, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 20, 2005 in his home. He was born November 15, 1912 in Warren Township to Albert and Ida (Talowitsky) Groth. He married Jacqualene L. Wagner July 12, 1973 in Caro. She died December 29, 1993.
Glenn served in the U.S. Army. He was a farmer and later also worked for Evans Products as a welder. He enjoyed working on cars.
Glenn is survived by his children: Judith (Gerald) Muntz of Bad Axe, Harold Groth of Cass City, Deana Mathews of Fort Carson, CO, Dianne Cook of Cass City, Gaillynn (Mike) Wagner of Midland, Brad (Gloria) Groth of Midland, Michelle Groth of Cass City, Randy Groth of Cass City; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; sister, Violet Czerwinski; several nieces and nephews. Glenn was preceded in death by his daughter, Marie Young; brothers: Arnold, Harvey, Fred and Martin and sister, Myrtle Sadro.
A private family memorial service is to be held at a later date. Mr. Groth is to be buried in Valley Cemetery, Ubly. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund and may be mailed to or dropped off at Kranz Funeral Home, 6850 Main St., Cass City.
