Ruth Ann Mildred Gornowicz (Rothe)

RUTH ANN MILDRED GORNOWICZ,
77, of Ubly met her Savior Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in her home following a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born January 29, 1945 at home in Bad Axe to Julius and Mildred (Einhardt) Rothe. She married Dale Erick Gornowicz on March 12, 1966 in St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Freiburg.

Ruth Ann graduated from Bad Axe High School in 1962. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Bad Axe Grain Company. Following their marriage, she helped Dale on the farm. Ruth Ann will be remembered as a Christian woman, a hard worker, and a very giving person. She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Cass City.

Ruth Ann is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Dale; brothers: Raymond (Darlene) Rothe of Bad Axe, Richard (Sharon) Rothe of Grand Haven; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Randy Rothe.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church of Cass City with Rev. Steve Bagnall officiating. Interment in Freiburg Cemetery.
