NANCY JANE (LALKO) GOMEZ
Beloved mother, daughter and sister, Nancy J. Gomez, age 48, of Kingston, died Friday, August 15, 2008 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Saginaw. She was born June 9, 1960 in Cass City to Mike and Jane Anne (Legg) Lalko.
Nancy was a 1978 graduate of Kingston High School. She lived in Kingston working as a cashier at the Kingston Mini Mart for over 20 years. Nancy attended Delta College. She was best known for her generosity, friendship and sense of humor. She blessed many with her creative gifts. Nancy enjoyed gardening, crafts and jigsaw puzzles.
Nancy is survived by her son, Mitchel Ruiz Gomez of Saginaw; mother, Jane Anne Lalko of Kingston; siblings: Brenda (Chris) Trimmer of Holly, David (Terie) Lalko of Kingston, Timothy (Deena) Lalko of Mesa, AZ, Susan Ross of Grand Rapids, Marie Stoddard of Caro, Jennifer Campbell of Kingston; best friend, Nina Duffy of Shepherd and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Mike Lalko; grandparents: Leo and Mary Legg, George and Agnes Lalko.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 18, 2008 in Kingston Wesleyan Church with Pastor Len Wyatt officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Gomez are her nephews: Anthony Trimmer, Aaron Trimmer, Brandon Stoddard, Michael Lalko, Brent Ross, Andrew Lalko, Joshua Campbell and Zachary Campbell.
