Raymond Gingrich

October 25, 1924 — August 20, 2015

RAYMOND SAMUEL GINGRICH,
90, of Oscoda died following a short illness Thursday, August 20, 2015 in his home. He was born October 25, 1924 at home in Novesta Township to Edward and Sylvia (Foetter) Gingrich. Raymond married Mary Coburn 25 years ago.

Raymond served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a talented second generation piano tuner for over 70 years, even recently. He owned Northeastern Music House in Oscoda for over 45 years where he sold pianos, organs, guitars and sheet music to go with them. Raymond enjoyed fishing, particularly salt water fishing in Florida and traveling in his RV all over the United States with Mary.

Raymond is survived by his children: Raymond (Sally) Gingrich of Midland, Randall (Ann) Gingrich of Alpena, Ramona (Kris) Mills of Albuquerque, NM; grandchildren: Toni (Jay) Mulholland, Andrew Gingrich, Bethany Gingrich, Charity Gingrich, Jessica Gingrich, Richard Gingrich, Hannah Gingrich; great grandchildren: Miles, Aspen and Theodore. He was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine (Stanley) Endersbee; brothers: Harold Gingrich, Dale (Elonore) Gingrich.
An immediate burial has taken place in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
