RUSSELL JUNIOR GIDDINGS,
70, of Millington died unexpectedly Saturday, May 21, 2011 in his home. He was born April 1, 1941 in Burnside Township, Lapeer County to Russell and Theresa (Yoe) Giddings.

Junior worked as a truck driver years ago, hauling milk. Most recently he was a mechanic for the Caro DPW where he worked for over ten years. Junior was particularly talented with any type of small engine or motor. He loved to work on lawn mowers and cars. He enjoyed deer hunting, pheasant hunting, fishing and watching television. Junior was a good cook. His family enjoyed his jerky and desserts.

Junior is survived by his children: Carol (Gary) Mitchell of Caro, Lawrence (Faith) Giddings of Deford, Sharon (Dan) Elledge of Caro; grandchildren: Courtney, Moe, Lisa, Anthony, Angel, Danny, Nathan, Autumn, Amber, Austin, Alley, Allisha, Ryan, Crystal, Gary, Christina, Rebecca, Chad, Candice, Kelly, Joe; great grandchildren: Airianna, Lillian, Jayden, Lea, Jasmine, Anthony, Caleb, Dominic, Alana, Aaliyah; brothers: Donald (Thelma) Giddings of Millington, Larry (Alvina) Giddings of East Dayton, Ken (Sandy) Giddings of Millington; sister, Barb (Tim) Moore of Clio; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He is preceded in death by: sons: Jerry Giddings, Jim Giddings; infant son, Danny; brother, Johnny Giddings; sister, Shirley (Ed) DuRussell.

Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Bob Bader officiating. Interment will be in Indianfields Township Cemetery, Caro.
