GERALDINE MAE CORCORAN

Geraldine M. Corcoran, 84, of Cass City died Tuesday, August 20, 2024 in Hills & Dales Healthcare, Cass City. She was born May 29, 1940 in Indianapolis, IN to Arthur and Anzy (Copeland) Rasmussen. She married Michael Thomas Corcoran on January 27, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN. He died January 26, 2019.

Geraldine was the youngest of eight children. She met Mike while working at the original Big Boy Restaurant in Hazel Park. Geraldine was an avid bowler and bowled for fifty years. She also enjoyed playing golf in Florida and Michigan. Geraldine’s favorite past time was needlework. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Geraldine is survived by her children: Pamela Corcoran of Cass City, Steven (Collene) Corcoran of Lake Orion, Susan Corcoran of Cass City; grandchildren: Cassandra Yankee, Theo Corcoran, Patrick Corcoran, Michael J. Corcoran, Kathleen (Christopher) Kotschevar; great-granddaughter, Theadora Corcoran; brother, Donald (Carolyn) Good of Elkhart, IN. She is preceded in death by her husband; son, Theo; seven siblings. 

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 24, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Deacon David Gillespie of Our Lady Consolata Parish officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
