GEORGENE ANN BROWN

Georgene A. Brown, 93, of Ubly, died Sunday, March 16, 2025 in The Heartlands, Marlette. She was born July 29, 1931 in Sanilac County to James and Norma (McAllister) Lowe. She married Clare Morris Brown on June 23, 1951 in Cass City. He died May 1, 2022.

Georgene was a housewife and worked with Clare on the dairy farm. She was a member of Fraser Presbyterian Church, Cass City. Georgene had a beautiful voice and loved to sing.

Georgene is survived by her son, William (Sandra) Brown of Cass City; grandchildren: Mike (Emily) Brown of Bay City, Kelly (Mike) Murphy of Freeland, Ryan Young of Bad Axe, Nick (Rachelle Connolly) Young of Ubly, Trever (Jeralyn Herp) Brown of Cass City; great grandchildren: Logan Brown, Lexi Brown, Nova Brown, Devin Murphy, Madison Murphy, Keagon Young, Kembrianna Young, Kenzington Young, Alli-Lynn Connolly; sister, Linda Helwig of Cass City; brother, Dale Lowe of Snover. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clare; daughter, Linda Young-Brown; siblings: Keith Lowe, Orwood Lowe, Jerry Lowe, Dean Lowe, Robert Lowe, Elaine Hillaker.

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Private family service held in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City with Rev. Kim Strunz officiating.
