PHILLIP �"CLARK GAMBELL
Phillip Clark Gambell, 63, of Decker, died unexpectedly Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at home. He was born July 11, 1941 in Detroit to Estell Ezell and Kathryn (Hughes) Gambell. Mr. Gambell never married.
Clark attended Almont High School. He enlisted and served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked for Hydraulic Tubing in Almont as a painter/packer for several years until his disability caused him to leave. He loved animals especially his beagle, Sparky. Clark enjoyed his family and friends.
Clark is survived by his sister, Sharon (Robert) Steward of Deford; nieces and nephews: Brian (Terri) Sanday, Roger (Lynnette) Sanday, Robert (Stacy) Sanday, Curtis (Lisa) Stewart, Brad (Kathy Hillman) Stewart, Elizabeth Stewart, Christopher (Christine) Stewart, Christal Stewart; great nieces and nephews: Justin, Summer, Kathryn, Boyd, Chad, Kelsey, Kyle, Emily, Courtney, Nathan, Brandon, Keeley, and Logan; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special cousins: Freda, Joan, Jennie, John, June, Phyllis and Ronald. Clark is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Beverley Sanday; nephews: Mark Wayne Sanday, Boyd Craig Sanday; niece, Cynthia Stewart; uncle, George Miller.
A private family graveside service is to be held in the spring. Mr. Gambell is to be buried with his parents in Bruce Township Cemetery, Armada. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund and may be mailed to or dropped off at Kranz Funeral Home, 6850 Main St., Cass City, MI 48726.
