Bobbi J. Galarno, 43, of Saginaw, died following a short illness Monday, March 7, 2016 in Covenant Medical Center, Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born April 2, 1972 in Saginaw to Robert and Karen (Nemeth) Fischer. She married Francis P. Galarno, II June 15, 2002 in the SVSU Chapel in Saginaw.
Bobbi graduated from Cass City High School in 1990. She studied at Alma College for one year, before transfering to Saginaw Valley State University. Bobbi completed her Masters plus 30 at Saginaw Valley State University. Bobbi taught Pre Calculus and Algebra at Saginaw High School then Arthur Hill High School. She played percussion in the marching band in high school and at Alma. Bobbi played softball and loved the water, whether it was at the Cass City pool or at the beach. She enjoyed camping and barbeques with friends. Bobbi loved being surrounded by friends. She loved her students and truly enjoyed her teaching job.
Bobbi is survived by her husband, Frank; father, Robert Fischer of Cass City; uncle, Rebert (Maria) Fischer of Ann Arbor; cousin, Elissa Fischer; her special friend and companion, Deuce, her German Shepherd; mother-in-law, Rosalie Galarno of Prescott; brothers-in-law; Tim (Annette) Galarno of Saginaw, Jim Galarno of Merrill, John (Paula) Galarno of Carlton; sisters-in-law: Mary Galarno of Saginaw, Bernadette Guida of New Port Richey, FL; niece, Emily Guida; nephews: Tony Galarno, Steve Guida, Jr., Chad Galarno. Bobbi is preceded in death by her mother, Karen Fischer; father-in-law, Francis Galarno, Sr., brother-in-law, Steven Guida.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Jeff Bader, Pastor of Cass River Bible Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Bobbi Jaye Galarno Scholarship Fund.
