ROBERT EDWARD GABLER
71, of Cass City died Thursday, April 22, 2021 in Medilodge, Cass City. He was born January 23, 1950 in Warren Township, the sixth of eight children born to George Christopher and Anna Sophia (Conley) Gabler.
Robert always looked forward to time spent with the Tuscola County Behavioral Services program. He felt right at home in the Fulton Residential Care Facility of Cass City, a loving environment, where he received wonderful care. Spending time with his caregivers and friends was something that Robert truly enjoyed. He treasured and adored his stuffed animals.
Robert is survived by his siblings: Evelyn Elzinga of Cass City, Irene McLellan of Deford, David Gabler of Cass City, Judy (Hugh) Ferguson of Marlette; many nieces, nephews and their families. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Gerald (Mary) Gabler, Ricky Gabler; sister, Dorothy Pierson; brothers-in-law: Robert Pierson, Bob McLellan.
Graveside service held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2021 in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City with Austin Keller of Ubly Christian Church officiating. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice of Bad Axe. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com. Visitors are kindly reminded to wear a mask or other facial covering during the visitation. Social distancing and limitations on numbers gathered will be observed.
