Elizabeth J. Frank, 88, of Cass City, died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Bay Regional Medical Center, Bay City. She was born May 6, 1921 at home in Huron County to Sprauge T. and Minnie E. (Rinnert) Hallitt. She married Stephen John Frank May 23, 1953 in Colfax United Missionary Church. He died February 22, 1999.
Elizabeth worked for Active Industries in Marlette retiring after 23 years. She was an U.A.W. member. Along with her husband, Steve, Elizabeth ran Frank's Music Store in Cass City for many years. Elizabeth enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening.
Elizabeth is survived by her siblings: Elmer J. (Donna) Hallitt of Elkton, Marie (Kenneth) White of Elkton; sisters-in-law: Loretta Hallitt of Caro, Rosie Hallitt of Filion; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers: Clayton Hallitt and Roy Hallitt.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2010 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. Judy Esckilsen of Cass City Church of the Nazarene officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association.
