Carlyle Everett

Carlyle W. Everett, 88, of Kingston, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003 in TriCounty Extended Care Center, Fairfield, OH after a long illness. He was born November 12, 1915 at home on the family farm in Kingston Township to E. Vernon and Ina (Coltson) Everett. He married Donna Wilmot August 17, 1941 at her family farm in Caro.

Carlyle graduated from Kingston High School in 1933. He was a crop and dairy farmer for many years. Carlyle worked for Active Homes in Marlette for ten years. He was a member of Kingston United Methodist Church, Farm Bureau, and member for many years of the Artificial Breeders Association, which he also served as Secretary/Treasurer. Carlyle enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and golfing.
Carlyle is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters: Marilyn (Rev. James) Cattran of Fairfield, OH, Beverly (James) Klein of Kettering, OH; grandsons: Jeffrey Cattran, Aric (Jenni) Cattran, Steven Klein, David Klein; sisters: Esther Graham of Caro, Lois Jarvis (Dale) Birchard of Tucson, AZ; brother-in-law, Walter Parrott of Indianapolis, IN; several nieces and nephews; close friends from Germany, Ulrich and Lisa Scheuermann. He is preceded in death in 1968 by a son, William T. Everett; sister, Mildred Parrott; nephew, Robert Graham; brothers-in-law, Guy Jarvis and Henderson Graham, two brothers and one sister who died in infancy.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 22, 2003 in Kingston United Methodist Church, Kingston with Rev. Terry Butters officiating. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church. Interment is in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Everett are: Jim Cattran, Jim Klein, Jeff Cattran, Aric Cattran, Steve Klein and David Klein.

Visitation: 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday
