Katherine M. Ernst, 35, of Caro, died unexpectedly Wednesday August 15, 2007 in Caro Community Hospital. She was born August 10, 1972 in Detroit to Carl and Helen M. (Jackson) Ernst. She married James ‘Frank’ Cox November 22, 2003 in Caro.
Kathy had a beautiful smile. She loved to be with her friends and family; she liked to have people around her. Kathy was a prankster playing jokes on her family and friends. She loved to reminisce with memories of the past. She liked to read and take walks. Kathy adored and loved her son, Nathaniel. She was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Frank Cox; son, Nathaniel Ernst; brothers: Robert D. (Robin) Spencer of Mt. Pleasant, Mark E. (Mona) Spencer of Caro, Brad G. (Cheryl) Spencer of Caro; nieces and nephews: Melissa, Stephanie, Sarah, Kenya, Mark Jr., Blake, Kyla, Savannah, Braedon, Tammy, Aaron and Daniel; great nieces and nephews: Ethan, Alyssa, Christopher, Sage, Nevaeh, Daniel; many aunts and uncles including: Fran and Ray Fisher of Mt. Pleasant, Georgia and Bob Shirey of Yucca Valley, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Juanita Spencer; birth parents, Carl and Helen Ernst; sister, Debra Sue Dobbs; brothers: Ernest Spencer Jr., Daniel Spencer
