MARTHA FERN KRUG ELLER,
82, of Carsonville, died Friday, February 10, 2012 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born December 19, 1929 in Paducha, KY to Clayton and Catherine Krug.
Martha worked as a telephone operator for Bell South for nearly 15 years. She was a homemaker caring for her daughter and grandchildren. Martha was a great story teller telling stories of her childhood days to her grandchildren. Years ago, when she felt better, she took her oldest granddaughter for walks outside telling stories as they walked. She truly loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Martha is survived by her daughter, Catherine Eller (William Lawson) of Deckerville; grandchildren: Crystal Eller (Matthew Witalec) of Carsonville, Catrina Eller and William Lawson both at home; great grandchildren: Rose and Matthew. She is preceded in death by her sister, Kathryn Carter.
Private family services will be held at a later date in her home town of Paducha, KY. Interment will be in Paducha, KY. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
