WILLIAM FRITTS EDWARDS,
81, Chattanooga, TN died following a lengthy illness Friday, February 7, 2020 in Nashville V.A. Medical Center, Nashville, TN. He was born December 25, 1938 in Cleveland, TN to Robert Charles and Beulah Caroline (Johnson) Edwards.
Bill served in the U.S. Army in the early 1960’s. Following his time in the service, he worked as a legal secretary with his partner, Vilas Edward Blackmer, in the state of New York.
Bill is survived by his sister, Linda Patricia Wells of Cleveland, TN; brother, James Ray Edwards of Cleveland, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Doris Davis, Joy Andies; brothers: Don Edwards, Robert Edwards.
Graveside service will be held in the spring. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
