MARY JEAN DYBILAS
Mary Jean Simpson Dybilas, 42, of Flint, formerly of Cass City, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 unexpectedly in her home. She was born April 1, 1964 in Colorado to Gene and Jacqueline (Minnino) Simpson. She married Paul Dybilas March 18, 2005 in Snover.
Mary enjoyed making wreaths, working with flowers and plants. She enjoyed gardening and decorating houses. Mary volunteered occasionally with the Salvation Army and visited the elderly in nursing homes with her daughter, helping with Bingo. Mary loved children. Her family was very important to her.
Mary is survived by her husband, Paul; children: Josh (Krista Leavine) Mackowiak of Cass City, Kyle Wright of Charlevoix, Jacob Lemanski of Charlevoix, Amanda Lemanski of Charlevoix; grandson, Aiden Mackowiak; parents: Jacqueline and Gene Simpson of Cass City; brothers: Steve Simpson of Colorado, Ron (Gerri) Simpson of Cass City, Brian Simpson of Cass City, Roy Calahan of Carsonville, Louis Calahan of Virginia; sisters: Laura (Amir) Gonzalez of Detroit, Darlene Simpson of Cass City, Vicky Hiatt of Cass City; nieces and nephews: Kevin, Bradley, Quinn, Carley, Luke, Heather, Madison, Angie, Cameron, Christopher. She is preceded in death by her grandparents.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Pastor Eric Holmgren officiating. Memorials may be made to Charity of the Donors Choice.
