THERESA KAY DOVE
Theresa Kay Dove, 66, of Kingston, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016 in McLaren Flint Hospital, Flint. She was born September 21, 1949 in Pontiac. She married Robert George Dove August 17, 1996 in Kingston. Theresa enjoyed cooking, gardening and being outdoors. She loved all animals, especially dogs and horses. In her earlier years, Theresa trained, rode, showed horses and dogs and operated her own kennel for Airedales. Theresa was proud to be the first female Millwright at Pontiac Truck and Bus. After a full career at GM, she pursued her dream with Robert operating A Dove Nest Bed and Breakfast in Kingston.
Theresa is survived by her husband, Robert; her children: Jason (Jami) Haarz of Lapeer, Amanda (Bryon) Pohlod of Kingston, Melissa (Tim) Rosseel of Ray; step children: Robynn Dove and Robert Dove; grandchildren: Shelby, Mikaila, Cassidy, Trenton, Triniti, Haley, Brody, Matthew, Evelyn: a brother, John (Peggy) Mangan of Pigeon. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Ruth (Edwards) Mangan; her son, Brad Haywald; brother, Timothy Mangan.
Memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Carol J. Abbott officiating. Memorials may be made to the Tuscola County or Sanilac County Humane Society or the American Heart Association.
