Andrew Peter Donnelly, 99, of Cass City, died Saturday, November 19, 2005 in Tendercare. He was born October 7, 1906 at home in Vassar Township to William and Alice (Meehean) Donnelly. He married Hannah Gotts Neiman February 7, 1948 in Cass City. She died November 13, 1973. Andrew then married Genevieve Danilowski Senbob November 22, 1975 in Palms. She died March 16, 1989.
Andrew was a hard worker. He did logging with horses in his younger years and was a farmer. In later years, he was a caretaker of county parks.
Andrew is survived by his step-children: Clayton (Donna) Neiman of Freeland, Wilbert (June) Neiman of Kansas; sisters: Jean (Fred) Summerfield of Vassar, Ellen Asher of Caro; brother, Charles Donnelly of Sutters Creek, CA; step-grandchildren: Melanie, Rodney, Randy, Mark, Mike, Rick, Jerry, Dan, Don, and Mary Kay; several step-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his step-daughter, Ila Hunt; twin brother, Ed Donnelly; brothers: Pat Donnelly, Dan Donnelly; sisters: Dorothy King, Jeaneth Pretzer, Elizabeth Kelly; step-grandson, Tom.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Scott Mills of St. Pancratius Catholic Church presiding. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
