RAYMOND DONALDSON,
76, of Cass City died following a long battle with cancer Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in his home with his wife by his side. He was born November 27, 1939 in Detroit to Charles and Rosalind (Bloch) Donaldson. He married Marlene A. Tocco October 12, 1968 in Detroit.
Ray graduated from Taylor Center High School in Taylor. He attended Wayne State University studying law.
Ray worked for Chrysler Motors as plant fireman retiring in 1991 after many years of service. Ray was known for his letters to the Editor of the Cass City Chronicle that always ended "and God bless Cass City." Ray was a cat lover and spent a great deal of time feeding area cats. He enjoyed the outdoors and was quick to move North after his retirement.
Ray is survived by his wife, Marlene; niece, Linda Hiller; sister, Rosalind Skipp.
Graveside service will take place in a few weeks at St. Agatha Cemetery, Gagetown. Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, Gagetown. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
