Lois A. Dillon, 86, of Unionville, died following a long illness Sunday, May 15, 2016 in Medilodge Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born March 1, 1930 in Huron County to Albertus and Susie (Vachovic) Langley. She married Leonard J. Dillon August 12, 1950 in St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville. He died August 21, 2007.
Lois enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning and word search puzzles. At one time she enjoyed fishing, playing on a pool league and bowling. Lois was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown and a member of their Altar Society.
Lois is survived by her daughter, Linda Colling of Cass City; granddaughter, Lesley (Chris Harden) Colling of Oxford; great grandchildren: Kayley Jo, Isaac and Alyssa; sister, Helen Guster of Caseville; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her son, Richard Dillon; son-in-law, Randall Colling; sisters: Mary Orban, Francis Gorski, Eleanor Perry, Erma Steele, Deloris Steinman; brothers: Leonard Langley, Tuck Langley, Roy Langley, John Langley.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 in Our Lady Consolata Parish, St. Agatha Catholic Church, Gagetown with Rev. Christian Tabares officiating. Interment will be in St. Agatha Cemetery, Gagetown. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
