LEONARD JAMES DILLON
Leonard J. Dillon, 77, of Unionville, died Tuesday, August 21, 2007 in Grand Blanc Rehabilitation and Nursing Center following a short illness. He was born September 22, 1929 at home in Columbia, Township to Leslie and Elva (Roberts) Dillon. He married Lois Ann Langley August 12, 1950 in St. Roch Catholic Church, Caseville.
Leonard worked as a truck driver for CR Hunt Construction for many years. He was a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church in Gagetown. Leonard enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and tinkering in the garage. He truly loved and enjoyed his family.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Lois; daughter, Linda (Randy) Colling of Cass City; granddaughter, Lesley Colling; great grandchildren: Kayley Jo Colling, Isaac Dearman; brothers: Bernard (Kay) Dillon of Cass City, Gerald Dillon of Fairgrove; sisters: Jane (Jim) Kamrad of Birch Run, Joan (Tom) Hendricks of Cass City; several; nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son, Richard Dillon; brother, Richard Dillon.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 24, 2007 in St. Agatha Catholic Church, Gagetown with Rev. Stephen J. Fillion and Sr. Dorothy Ann Blasko, OP officiating. Memorials may be made to St. Agatha Catholic Church. Interment will take place in St. Agatha Cemetery.
