Elizabeth J. DeLuyck, 18, of Cass City died unexpectedly, Sunday, December 16, 2012 in Deford. She was born May 20, 1994 in Saginaw to Lucky and Darla (Boyes) DeLuyck.
Elizabeth graduated from Cass City High School in 2012. When Elizabeth was young, it was her dream to walk dogs for a living. Her most recent dream was to pursue a career as a pastry chef. Elizabeth loved spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed dancing, gymnastics, music and traveling.
Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Lucky and Darla DeLuyck of Cass City; sisters: Amy (Tim) Marker of Unionville, Andrea Butler of Cass City, Chelsa (Ryan) McCauslin of Prudenville; niece, Allison Marker; nephews: Connor Middaugh, Jacob Marker, Isaac McCauslin; aunts: Jeanie Boyes of Cass City, Janie Wise of Sun City, AZ. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: William and Joanne Boyes, Cyril and Jane DeLuyck; aunt, Suzy Davidson; uncle, William Wise.
Funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in Cass City Missionary Church, with Pastor Phil Berkett officiating. Interment in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
