DELBERT ALVIN ENGLEHART
Delbert Englehart, 68, of Brown City, formerly of Cass City died Sunday, February 11, 2024 in McLaren Lapeer Region. He was born April 16, 1955 to Albert Donald and Eunice May (DeLong) Englehart.
Delbert served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the late Vietnam era. He worked for Johnson Controls, Inc. of Port Huron as a machine operator and retired in 2020. Delbert was a member of Novesta Church of Christ, Cass City. He was fond of his dogs and watching NASCAR and wrestling on television. Delbert enjoyed time spent outdoors mowing the lawn. He tinkered with and repaired small engines as a side business at home.
Delbert is survived by his son, Jonathan Englehart, Sr.; grandson, Jonathan Englehart, Jr; brothers: Donald (Barbara) Englehart of Deford; Duane (Sue) Englehart of Caro; Dallas Englehart of Brown City; sisters: Virginia Elaine (William) Denby of Kimbal; Vivian (Lee) Bracey of Fremont, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Douglas Englehart.
Memorial service held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home with Delbert’s brother-in-law, Reverend Lee Bracey officiating. Interment in Novesta Township Cemetery in the spring. Memorials may be made to Dallas Englehart to be used for the family's discretion.
