GLENN ERNEST DARR
Glenn E. Darr, 93, of Cass City, died Friday, July 7, 2006 at home with his family at his side. He was born June 11, 1913 at home in Argyle Township to Henry and Emma Darr. He married Mildred Arlene Morrish December 13, 1936 in Cass City. She died September 14, 1981. He later married Roberta June Czarnecki Morrish June 16, 1983.
Glenn worked for Ford Motor Company in the Transmission Division in Livonia until his retirement. He was a member of Local #182. Glenn loved farming, including plowing, harvesting, raising feeder cattle, working in the fields, baling hay. He enjoyed hunting, gardening and watching the hummingbirds.
Glenn is survived by his wife, Roberta; children: Charles H. Darr of Saginaw; Deanna J. (Lee) Miller of Caseville; 9 grandchildren, including Greg (Emily) Darr of Cass City; 19 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; step-children: Wanda (Carl) Reddick, Ruth (Paul) Riccardi, Bonnie (Dennis) Rolston, Joy-Ann (Ronald) Horning, Floyd H. (Ethel) Morrish, Gloria (Tom) Stilson, Max Morrish, Janet (Charles) Williams; several step-grandchildren and step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his sons: William Darr, Jack Darr; daughter, Joyce Darr.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 10, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Karen Bouverette, Heartland Hospice Chaplain officiating. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
