CHARLES H. DARR
Charles H. Darr, 69, of Saginaw, died suddenly Saturday, August 4, 2007 in his home. He was born March 4, 1938 in Greenleaf Township, Sanilac County to Glenn and Mildred (Morrish) Darr.
Chuck worked for Marlette Homes, a local farm and later volunteered at St. Mary’s Green House in Saginaw. He loved animals and gardening. He had a big heart and was always helping people.
Chuck is survived by his daughters: Tanya Darr of Decker, Terri (Darrel) Field of Deford;Tisa (Ed) Szczepanski of Decker; grandchildren: Courtney Szczepanski, Chantal Field, Nicholas Field, Drew Field; step-mother, Roberta Darr of Cass City; brother-in-law, Lee Miller of Caseville; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by father, Glenn Darr; mother, Mildred Darr; grandson, Chase Szczepanski; sisters: Joyce Darr, Deanna Miller; brothers: Jack Darr, William Darr.
Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 13, 2007 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Elder Karen Bouverette officiating. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Interment will take place in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Darr: Ed Szczepanski, Gary Knight, Greg Darr and Carl Krumenacker.
