ELLEN E. CRAWFORD
Ellen E. Crawford, 94, of Snover, died Saturday, August 21, 2004 in Sanilac County Medical Care Facility, Sandusky. She was born June 17, 1910 in Calumet Township to Lars Levi and Hilma Elvira (Lindholm) Wuopio. She married Glen G. Crawford June 27, 1932 in Ohio. He died March 8, 1988.
Ellen and Glen lived in Birmingham after their marriage, later moving to Eloy, AZ. They settled in Snover in 1979. Ellen worked as a secretary for Reed and Paterson Construction for a few years. She enjoyed reading.
Ellen is survived by her son, Daniel (Dinsy) Crawford of Dryden; son-in-law, Kent Biehl of Mission, TX; grandchildren: Douglas G. Crawford, Scott W. Crawford, Brian C. (Liesha) Crawford, Colin Biehl, Carter (Gina) Biehl; great granddaughters: Bridgett Crawford and Ashlyn Biehl; sister, Evelyn Nichols of Waukesha, WI; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Marlene Biehl; and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 24, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. Arnold Burger retired clergy from Assembly of God Church of Caro officiating. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
