ROBERT FREDERICK COVERDILL
94, of Cass City died Friday, December 24, 2021 in his home. He was born May 28, 1927 in Detroit to Frederick and Irene (Roy) Coverdill. He married Nancy Lou Herr on May 24, 1952 in Holly.

Robert was conscripted into the Michigan State Police during the Detroit Riots. He worked as a farm laborer, milking cows for various farmers in the area. Robert was a former member of the Holly Lodge No. 1168 Loyal Order of Moose. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching television.

Robert is survived by his wife, Nancy; sons: Robert (Roberta) Coverdill of Deford, Bertram (Deborah) Coverdill of Deckerville; sister, Delores (Roger) Smith of Durand; fifty-six grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his children: Vickie, Mickie, Norma, Scott, Darcie; brothers: Bruce, Bill; sisters: Winnie, Gloria.

Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Phil Burkett of Cass City Missionary Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Kranz Funeral Home for the benefit of the family.
