LYNDA JEAN CORNELL 54
Lynda J. Cornell, 54, of Kingston, died unexpectedly Saturday, January 1, 2005 in St. Marys Medical Center in Saginaw. She was born May 19, 1949 in Sandusky to Gerald and Jean (Theobald) Allen.
Lynda graduated from Deckerville High School in 1967. She worked for several years at Yale Rubber. Lynda currently worked in the deli at Wingerts Food and Variety Center and Pharmacy in Mayville. She enjoyed pets, crocheting, knitting, deer hunting (with bow and with gun), and NASCAR racing. Lynda had a very giving nature. She was kind and helpful. She enjoyed nature and being outside.
Lynda is survived by her children: Holly (Mark) Holmes of Marlette, William Cornell of Vassar; grandchildren: Courtney Baird, Ryan Holmes; father of her children, William H. Cornell, Sr.; parents: Gerald and Jean Allen of Deckerville; grandmother, Gertrude Krause of Deckerville; sister, Diana (Jim) Osentoski of Ubly; nephews: Jimmy (Leigh) Osentoski, Paul (Julie) Osentoski; great nieces and nephews: Brieann, Brandy, Tyler and Gavin; and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Richard Theobald, Harry and Daisy Allen.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005 in Kranz Funeral Home, Kingston, with Pastor Dean Bryan of Juniata Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in East Marion Township Cemetery, Deckerville. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund.
