VIOLETTE ETHEL LABLANC COPE,
77, of Freeland, formerly of Cass City, died Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Health Source Saginaw. She was born December 25, 1933 in Argyle Township, Sanilac County to William and Ethel (Hyatt) Faltinowski. She married Willis Earl LaBlanc July 6, 1957 in Cass City Church of the Nazarene. He died November 25, 1996. She married Ralph Cope in 1997 in Caro. He died 2005.
Violette worked for Walbro Manufacturing retiring after over 30 years. She was a member of Cass City Church of the Nazarene. Violette enjoyed visiting with her family and being part of her church activities. Her church was very important to her.
Violette is survived by her daughter, Kerri LaBlanc of Freeland; brother, Elwood (Martha) Faltinowski of Inverness, FL; sisters: June Cannon of Tampa, FL, Bessie McCool of Arcadia, FL; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister, Leona Minard.
Private committal service will be held later in the spring at her graveside in Novesta Township Cemetery. Interment will be in Novesta Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cass River Pet Friendz. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
