Kathleen Conrad

Kathleen C. Conrad, 86, of Cass City, formerly of West Bloomfield died Tuesday, November 19, 2002 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born May 9, 1916 in West Virginia to Millard and Grace (Broughman) Hibbard. She married Henry Radford in 1933 in Huntington, WV. He died in 1935. She then married Ward Conrad who died in 1969.

Kathleen worked as a custodian at Wonderland Lanes Bowling Alley in Walled Lake until her retirement in 1988. She was a wonderful cook and baker.

Kathleen is survived by her brothers: Cecil Hibbard of Muncie, IN, Samuel Hibbard of Tampa, FL; sister, Virginia Stahl of Muncie, IN; sister-in-law, Margaret Hibbard of Yorktown, IN; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by brothers: Millard, Albert and Raymond Hibbard; sisters: Frances Ream and Louise McKendree.

Funeral services held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2002 at Simpson Modetz Funeral Home, Riverside Chapel, Waterford, with Pastor Tony Randolph of Faith Baptist Church, Waterford, officiating. Interment is in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital. Arrangements by Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, MI.
